A Punggol Tale

After visiting 987 we (Asirah, Dee and Myself) headed to Scape McDonalds for breakfast.

From there we decided to go on a spontaneous and long journey to Punggol after Hirzi, from Munah and Hirzi, sent Dee a message saying to come and visit him on a shoot.

When we arrived to our surprise we saw Rachell Tan, Amos Yee, Naomi Neo and Steven Lim sitting there.

Was a nice surprise to see Rachell as I met her online a long time ago but have never met her in person!

We went to sit down inside and quickly discovered ourselves being surrounded by people and chicken. That’s when we met Naomi Neo and asked her how to pronounce her name properly haha. Earlier we were debating how to pronounce it properly.

Before we knew we ended up in the commercial ourselves. My shoulder featured heavily in it and Asirah’s face got plenty of airtime. Well, not really but sure!

The most entertaining of all would’ve been meeting Steven Lim.

Meeting a "SuperStar"

Here is a stalker photo that I found on the internet that someone took.

A lot of people have a lot to say about him. All I have to say is that he’s very kind. In the short time that I spoke to him he called me “Handsome,” Intro’d me to a BasketBall player and tried to marry me to his Chinese friend.

Not many people can do that for you!

Oh and we did a cover of ”Girl Over There, Look Over Here.” Which was incredibly bad yet incredibly hilarious.

After sitting in the heat for a while and eating free popeyes nuggets we decided that we should leave… This excited me greatly because it meant we got to ride the LRT. Having only ever stayed in the West, East and Central I’ve never had the chance to ride it… So it was only natural that I was excited.

The excitement soon turned to shock and laughter on the MRT as we had Hirzi with us…or were we with him? I don’t know.

This guy, seriously, he is just like he is in the videos. Hilarious to just be around.

One example. We were at nex mall and saw some arabs on the escalator. I jokingly muttered “Yalaaaaaa habibi” – Hirzi overheard this and decided to school me on how to Yalahhh properly.

This was in a very crowded mall. I couldn’t hold in the laughter after this… I couldn’t before but seriously, after this. LOST IT.

It was a very funny day… Really needed it after the disappointing morning.

Didn’t really expect any of that to happen.

Here is some pictures for your eyes to enjoy:

I love Dee's expression here. Gold.

This is one for the ladies.

The last shot of all the crew... which we were persuaded to join - presumably to make sure that the shoot was racially harmonious.

Dee 'borrowed' this guys glasses so he could take photos!
